About
From a Farm Town in California to Business Class Around the World
How I quit my 9-to-5, moved to Bali, and built a life where I travel the world in style - almost entirely on points.

The Beginning
Small Town Kid, Big Dreams
I grew up in a small farm town in the middle of California. Not exactly a place that screams world travel. But the second I got to college in Southern California and picked up a surfboard, something clicked.
My first real taste of travel was driving across the border into Mexico for surf trips. It blew my mind - you could cross one line and suddenly everything was different. The food, the culture, the laws, the waves. I was hooked.
As a kid in college, I had zero money. But I had the bug. I knew I wanted to see the world. I just didn't know how yet.

The Leap
Quitting the 9-to-5
After college, I ended up in a sales job in Anaheim, California. A 9-to-5 office gig. It paid the bills, but something didn't fit. California didn't feel like home anymore, and I knew it.
In 2017, I did what most people only talk about. I quit my job, packed a bag, and moved to Bali. Not with a big savings account. Not with a master plan. Just a camera, a surfboard, and enough faith to figure it out.
I went to pursue travel photography, surfing, and a life that actually felt like mine. It was a total leap of faith - but it was the best decision I ever made.
Living in Bali put me close to everything. Southeast Asia was affordable, the surf was world-class, and I had the freedom to explore whenever I wanted. In my 20s, flying economy wasn't a big deal. Everything was new and exciting. I was just happy to be on a plane going somewhere.
The Problem
18-Hour Flights and a Breaking Point
But as I got older, those long-haul flights started catching up with me. The trip from Bali back to California to visit family? 24+ hours of total travel time.
Even in my late 20s, my back was in pain by hour four on the long flights. I kept thinking - there has to be a better way. I wanted comfort, but I wasn't about to spend $5,000 to $10,000 on a single flight.
And it wasn't just flights. As I got older, I wanted nicer hotels too. Not hostels. Not budget rooms. Real, quality places that matched the experiences I was having.

The Discovery
1.4 Million Points Later
That's when I dove headfirst into the world of credit card points and miles. I invested real time and money learning from someone who'd already figured it out. I learned the systems, I learned the bank rules, I learned the timing, I learned the strategy.
Within 18 months, I'd earned over 1.4 million points.
My first Business Class flight was Turkish Airlines - Bali to Istanbul to Los Angeles. When I sat down in that seat, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. Lying completely flat, sleeping comfortably on a flight for the first time, incredible food, drinks that never stopped. First one on the plane and first one off. They treated us like royalty - and made me feel important and valued. Something you just don't feel in the back of the plane.
The experience was so good, I was actually dreading having to get off the plane. I knew right then - I could never go back to the way it was before.
It wasn't long before I was flying Business Class on every trip and booking luxury hotels on points. One trip, I booked Business Class for my girlfriend and I from Mexico City to Amsterdam direct - both seats on points - and stayed at a Marriott overlooking the river in downtown Amsterdam. One of the most sought-after spots in the city. Total out-of-pocket for the whole trip? About $200.
Life Now
Living on My Own Terms
Today, I spend most of the year in Bali. Other parts of the year, I'm in Brazil, or traveling to the States, Australia, Europe - wherever feels right. I wake up, handle morning meetings, hit the gym or go surf, and then lock in for the afternoon building my businesses. No dedicated office. No cubicle. No boss telling me when to show up.
And when I travel, I fly Business Class. Every time. I stay in hotels I used to think were only for wealthy people. The difference is, I'm not spending a fortune to do it. That's the power of understanding points.

Why I Built This
Million Mile Club Was Born From Experience
Most of my friends have credit cards. They're successful people - business owners, digital nomads, world travelers. But almost none of them know how to optimize their cards for points. They don't know what signup bonuses are worth, which cards to get in what order, or how to turn everyday spending into Business Class flights.
They were leaving tens of thousands of dollars in travel value on the table - and they didn't even know it. A lot of them still don't realize the power of this strategy.
I started Million Mile Club because I saw an opportunity to help others the way I was helped when I first got into this game. The points world is complex - bank rules, application timing, bonus cycles, annual fee management. It takes hours of research to stay on top of. Most people don't have the time or the interest to figure it all out themselves.
That's where we come in. We do the research, build your personalized strategy, manage the moving pieces, and tell you exactly what to do and when. You follow the plan. We handle everything else. Think of it less like a service and more like having a team who's obsessed with points - working behind the scenes so you're always earning and never overpaying.
